10 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing European and international projects with countries in Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. She worked with diplomatic services, NGOs, research centers and international organizations (United Nations and World Bank), in the areas of socioeconomic development, urban resilience, advocacy and humanitarian aid. She believes in the virtues of South-North cooperation and has experience in facilitating collaborative dialogues with a diverse range of stakeholders. Pauline has a double degree in Political Science from Sciences Po Bordeaux (France) and from the University of Granada (Spain); a Master’s degree in International and European Affairs, with a focus on cooperation and risk management. She is also a certified facilitator by the Programa Germinar, a leadership facilitation program led by the EcoSocial Institute (São Paulo). Fluent in Portuguese, French, English and Spanish.
She was born in the countryside of France and naturalized Brazilian. She spent her childhood close to the Spanish border, at the crossroads between the Pyrenees mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. From her French roots, she inherited a sense of solidarity and a pronounced taste for well-made things. With a curious character, she started traveling the world and made a stopover in Brazil for a long time, where she nourished herself with local wisdom that taught her how to relativize things in life and to question how to live better with herself and with others. Pauline likes to spend quality time with family and friends, as well as getting to know other cultures. Her favorite indulgence are sports (for energy balance) and singing (to relax). Heads up! She is very moody when she is hungry.
Pauline brings the sense of organization and solidity that allows the group to walk amidst adversity. While we dream, she accomplishes. Her attention to details inspires the confidence we need to persist. She is the head of A Ponte.
